Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Front of House to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all customers. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and display cases.
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including light snacks or baked goods.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner.
- Restock supplies and ensure the workspace remains tidy throughout shifts.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Skills
- Proven barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to assist with food preparation when required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
- Ability to work well within a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
