Job Description (Overview):
Responsible for effecting the preparation of all engineering deliverables and related processes.
Responsible for the control and scheduling of all engineering office activities and related processes.
Responsible for training and mentoring of staff including knowledge transfer / management.
Responsibilities:
Technical
· Effect the preparation of all engineering deliverables and related processes.
· Control and schedule all engineering office activities and related processes.
· Control, schedule and assist with detail design of new and existing products.
· Control, schedule and assist supporting calculations for detail design activities.
· Control, schedule and assist preparation / revision of 3D models for new and existing products.
· Control, schedule and assist preparation / revision of 2D drawings for new and existing products from model or otherwise.
· Control, schedule and assist with analysis utilising available software.
· Maintain relevant licenses / registrations for engineering software.
· Control, schedule and assist preparation of technical data sheets for new and existing products.
· Control, schedule and assist with the preparation of any other engineering deliverable as is required to support other functions.
· Control, schedule and assist checking 3D models, 2D drawings, calculations, data sheets, analyses and any other engineering deliverable as is required by the function.
· Maintain a schedule of activities and tasks and report on a weekly basis
Training
· Conduct training/transfer of knowledge, including generation and maintenance of training material, mentoring and support of departmental and team personal development goals.
General
· Work together with your colleagues to ensure company objectives are achieved
· Comply with TFM Business Management System (BMS) and contribute to it’s continual improvement and effectiveness.
· Report any HSE risks/incidents in order to promote the health and safe well-being of yourself and others.

Required External Qualifications/Training/Skills:
Training
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship preferable.
- AutoCAD user and system management
Academic
- Educated to degree level in an Engineering Discipline (or equivalent)
- Professional Membership
Experience
- 5 years Engineering / Design Experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of Engineering Control Procedures
- Knowledge of Offshore Industry
- Knowledge of Engineering Computing
- Knowledge of CE Marking process preferred
- Knowledge Techflow Marine type products preferable
- Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor software preferred.
- Good Leadership Skills
- Good Communication Skills
