Duties
- Prepare wheels for refurbishment by cleaning, inspecting, and assessing surface conditions
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove old finishes, repair minor damages, and prepare wheels for painting or coating
- Apply paint, primer, or protective coatings with precision to achieve a high-quality finish
- Conduct heavy lifting of wheels and related components safely and efficiently during various stages of refurbishment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Perform quality checks on finished wheels to ensure they meet company standards before delivery or installation
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, grinders, sanders, and wrenches
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively in a workshop environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Prior experience in wheel refurbishment is essential.
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
