Duties
- To oversee activity across the premises and detect suspicious behavior
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security breaches or hazards
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or vandalism
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with emergency services when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents for record-keeping and reporting purposes
- Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information while ensuring access control protocols are followed
- Perform first aid when required, providing immediate assistance until professional help arrives
Experience
- Previous experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail in identifying irregularities or safety concerns
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and emergency responders
