Editorial Assistant
Assisting our editor to deliver entertaining, compelling, and quality content in appealing magazines.
The job will encompass a wide range of duties and training opportunities, including -
Writing
Sub-editing
Photography
Page setting and layout, utilising mainly InDesign and Photoshop
Image selection and design
Our small editorial team includes two editors, two designers and support functions. The role will provide the right candidate the opportunity to develop this new role working alongside experienced staff and learn a wide range of writing and journalist skills to develop their career.
Depending upon experience and knowledge we would consider helping you undertake a NCTJ (National Council for Training of Journalists) remote learning course. This is a 250 hour course, probably conducted over a two-year period which results in a Certificate in Foundation Journalism.
