CNC Lathe Operator
We are looking for a permanent CNC Lathe Operator to join an expanding engineering company.
As a CNC Lathe Operator, your responsibilities will vary from programming, setting and operating CNC turning lathes to reading and understanding engineering technical drawings. Knowledge of Fanuc control systems is an advantage for this role as is the ability to work to close tolerances.

Main responsibilities:
- To be conversant with operating CNC lathe turning centres
- The ability to produce precision components from a variety of engineering materials
- To produce components within a cost-effective timeframe
- The ability to read and understand engineering technical drawings
- Conversant with all necessary measuring equipment
- Ability to work to close tolerances, bearing tolerance limits
- Able to work under own initiative and capable of working with limited supervision
Self-inspection
- Have the ability to communicate with people at all levels and work pro-actively as part of a team
- Take part in any training provided
The hours for this position are 7.45am to 4.25pm, Monday – Thursday and 7.45am to 1.45 on Friday. Plus the option to work overtime during the week and Saturdays/Sundays. All work will require you to be working on-site. The pay rate for this role is negotiable based on skill level and experience.
