Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Early Years Educator Level 3 to join our vibrant Outstanding childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within a nurturing environment. A valid Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education is essential, along with relevant nursery experience.
Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas including cognitive, emotional, social, and physical skills.
- Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning and reporting to parents or guardians.
- Support children's individual needs by providing personalised care and guidance.
- Foster positive behaviour through effective behaviour management strategies aligned with organisational policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Contribute to the organisation’s continuous improvement initiatives through team meetings and training sessions.
Skills
- Proven leadership skills within a childcare setting.
- Strong working knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm.
- Experience in nursery settings or similar environments is highly desirable.
- Organisational skills to plan activities and manage daily routines efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative independently.

Pay: £25,350.00-£27,000.00 per year
