We are seeking a talented and experienced Indian Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.We are seeking experienced Ind chef who has experience in tandoori.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for food preparation and presentation. Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production
- Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels to meet operational needs
- Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Lead team management activities including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times
- Assist in serving food during busy periods or special events as required
- Monitor quality control throughout the food preparation process to uphold high standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within hospitality or restaurant settings
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food production, preparation techniques, and culinary trends
- Excellent skills in cooking and food presentation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience in restaurant operations or hospitality is highly desirable
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen management
