Allied Health Professional Information Officer
(Nursing/Midwifery background also considered)
Do you have a passion for making a difference to the lives of others? Are you able to engage and work with others to deliver sustainable changes in clinical processes with digital as an enabler? Do you want to be part of an exciting Clinical Informatics team that will transform the way in which health and care is delivered, not just within the walls of a hospital, but reaching across health and care providers?
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who brings both passion and experience in understanding how to deliver successful digital change in a complex environment. This role will need experience in understanding how Millennium EPR works and how to work with clinical and operational teams to navigate the best way to improve how they do their work.
We work as part of a collaborative team where everyone has a voice and is encouraged to continuously improve our approach to change.
Interviews are planned for week commencing 24 August 2026. Please note that there may be initial telephone interviews.
As an AHP Information Officer, you will play a vital part in the delivery of our Millennium adoption, optimisation and transformation journey, providing clinical leadership to people and projects across the Trust. We're particularly keen to hear from Allied Health Professionals who understand the unique workflows, pressures and opportunities within AHP services, and who can champion the AHP voice as we shape how digital tools support care.
The Nursing, Midwifery or AHP Information Officer (IO) will play a key role in the adoption and development of the Electronic Patient Record (ePR) Millennium, across the Trust and wider Surrey Region. The post holder will work within the Clinical Informatics team across multiple areas with either a planned or unplanned care setting focus providing a pivotal integrated view of pathways across those settings. The IO will provide practical support to the clinical teams to take forward improvements and new ways of working introduced through Millennium EPR. To enable successful service transition, drive operational change and help realise the qualitative and quantitative benefits available with use of integrated clinical systems.

The post holder will work with the Clinical, Digital and Transformation teams to ensure alignment of priorities to achieve the overall long term project plan and support the Chief Clinical Informatics Officer (CCIO) and Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (CNIO) in ensuring Trust staff of all levels are assisted in making the transition to digital workflows. Improving patient safety, quality and patient experience is an explicit priority rather than an assumption and needs to underpin all elements of programme work undertaken.
The post holder will be required to work across all sites across the Trust as well as collaborate and mange relationships with their counterparts across other Trusts.
