Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The right candidate for our 19 room Hotel will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in organisational ability, to ensure the smooth running of a Housekeeping department, although not necessarily coming from a Hotel environment.
The successful applicant will be a key member of staff, ensuring consistent room standards in a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for our guests. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service.
Hours worked will be dependent on operational requirements and seasonal fluctuations but we would be expecting minimum 15 to 25 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a regular supply of linens & room comforts
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring all items are fresh and presentable.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to maintain a tidy appearance throughout the premises.
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Report and where appropriate deal with any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns in a friendly manner.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations within the establishment.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good time management skills to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
