Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and organised Legal Assistant to join our Breach team in providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will excel in data entry and demonstrate strong organisational skills.
Duties:-
· Review cases to ascertain whether enforcement action is appropriate.
· Deal with Client telephone calls (to check if repairs have been done, go through HWF applications, gather information for Witness Statements etc)
· Drafting Application and Part 8 proceedings
· Send routine correspondence to Clients, landlords and Solicitors.
· Liaising with experts, counsel.
· Prepare bundles for the court
· Book Counsel for court hearings
Skills:-
· Excellent IT skills
· Excel knowledge
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Empathy clients who are for Social Landlord tenants
· Strong negotiation skills
· Willingness to learn and develop
Experience:- Previous experience in clerical or administrative roles is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
