At cinch Chery Birmingham, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified Diagnostic or Master Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. This is a pivotal role in the workshop, due to the level of expertise and knowledge required to solve the most complex issues at the highest standards.

In this role:
- You’ll carry out a range of maintenance work on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
- You’ll complete mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, working in line with manufacturer standards.
- You’ll carry out a range of complex diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
- You’ll complete EV work (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, working in line with manufacturer standards.
- You’ll use your expertise in diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve hard to find issues.
- You’ll support the less skilled Technicians in diagnosing all types of issues, guiding them on being highly efficient.
We're looking for:
- Someone qualified as a Diagnostic or Master Technician Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Someone with exposure to both complex diagnostic and servicing work, with experience in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
- Most importantly, someone with a mentor mindset, happy to share their knowledge and expertise with the workshop.
