The Opportunity
Corstorphine Chiropractic is looking for an experienced Massage Therapist to join our team on a self-employed basis. This is an exciting opportunity to take over an existing patient list, with excellent potential to develop and grow your own client base within an established and supportive clinic.
Hours: 4–12 hours per week initially, with flexibility around working days and times.
About You
We are looking for a professional, friendly and motivated therapist who:
- Is fully qualified and experienced as a Massage Therapist
- Is fully insured to practise
- Is registered with any appropriate professional bodies
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well as part of a team
- Is flexible with working hours and able to accommodate patient needs where possible
- Maintains high standards of professionalism, personal presentation and hygiene
- Is committed to providing an excellent patient experience
- Is confident working independently while being a positive member of the wider clinic team
Essential Requirements
- Recognised massage therapy qualification
- Appropriate professional insurance
- Registration with relevant professional bodies, where applicable
- Safeguarding training, or willingness to complete this
- First Aid training, or willingness to complete this
- High standards of clinical practice, hygiene and professionalism
Desirable Qualifications
The following would be advantageous:
- Sports Massage
- Remedial Massage
- Pregnancy Massage
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare or clinical environment
