The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Lettings Negotiator to join our Residential Lettings team in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing and ambitious business. You will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our lettings operation, developing strong relationships with landlords and tenants, and delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the lettings process.
Key Responsibilities
As part of our busy and successful lettings team, your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and prospective tenants
- Registering applicants and maintaining accurate records within the applicant database
- Matching applicants with suitable properties and providing detailed property information
- Marketing available properties across online portals and other advertising channels
- Uploading and managing property listings on relevant platforms
- Conducting property viewings and gathering feedback from applicants
- Negotiating offers and tenancy terms between landlords and tenants
- Managing properties from instruction through to Let Agreed stage
- Achieving individual and team performance targets
- Providing landlords with market updates and lettings advice
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to wider team objectives as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience within a lettings, estate agency or similar property-related role
- A proactive, self-motivated and target-driven approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A professional, customer-focused attitude
- Confidence using property software, technology and online marketing platforms
- High standards of personal presentation
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for business use
- A genuine passion for property and delivering outstanding service
