Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Brick layer/general builder to join our team in constructing, repairing and renovating domestic properties for various projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in brickwork and general building and possess proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
Duties:
- Lay bricks to construct walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
- Repair and maintain existing brick structures
- Cut and trim bricks using hand tools or power saws
- Mix mortar and spread it onto bricks for laying
- Ensure structures are level and aligned correctly
- Work on various projects such as residential buildings, commercial properties, and industrial sites
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters when necessary
Skills:
- Proficient in masonry techniques including bricklaying and pointing
- Ability to use power tools such as saws and drills effectively
- Familiarity with different types of bricks, mortar mixes, and construction materials
- Skilled in working on roofs and elevated surfaces
- Competent in using hand tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing bricks
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in brickwork

Pay: From £38,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Bricklaying: 1 year (preferred)
