Job Overview
We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to residents with mental health needs and assist them with daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred support to residents.
* Assist with personal care and daily living tasks.
* Support residents with meal preparation and household activities.
* Monitor and record residents' progress and wellbeing.
* Encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
* Administer medication in accordance with care plans and policies.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
* Work closely with colleagues and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year of care experience (required).
* Previous experience in residential care or assisted living.
* Good understanding of mental health support and patient care.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Compassionate, professional, and reliable approach.
* Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service preferred.
* First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
* Fluent English required.
