I am looking for a reliable, neuro-affirming job aide / executive support assistant to support my professional work.
The role is around 4 hours per week on average, paid at £16 per hour through the Access to Work scheme, with invoices paid directly by Access to Work once approved. Funding is currently confirmed until August 2028 (if we get along)

Much of my work involves translating complex ideas and lived experience into professional presentations, reports, resources, and communications.
I am autistic and have ADHD and OCD, alongside multiple physical disabilities, which can make work challenging. I work at a high professional level, and this role exists to provide practical support with executive functioning, organisation, and communication tasks so I can continue delivering my work effectively.
The role may include:

- attending meetings to take notes and help me make sense of them
- Helping organise notes, documents, research, and project tasks
- Occasional basic admin tasks that support workflow
The person in this role will need to be highly organised, proactive, and dependable. Many aspects of my work involve external commitments and professional deadlines, so reliability and the ability to adhere to agreed deadlines is essential.
Check-ins will usually take place at least twice per day Monday–Wednesday, with occasional flexibility depending on workload.
Due to the nature of my work, AI tools must not be used when handling confidential case material or sensitive information.
Essential skills and qualities

- Excellent written English and ability to structure professional content
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Word
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Able to turn rough notes or ideas into clear professional documents
- Reliable and consistent, with the ability to adhere to deadlines and commitments

Desirable skills and experience
- Qualification or training relating to neurodivergence
- Experience supporting neurodivergent professionals
- Background in coaching, mentoring, or executive functioning support
- Experience with professional writing, consultancy work, or presentation development
The role is remote. Work will typically take place Monday to Wednesday, though occasionally some work may fall on Thursday or Friday depending on deadlines or workload.
Hours average around 4 per week, though some weeks may be slightly fewer and others may have additional hours depending on workload and available Access to Work funding.
Due to the nature of my work, some tasks will involve confidential case material and professional information, so a high level of trust, discretion, and understanding of confidentiality and GDPR responsibilities is essential.
This role is self-employed, and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own tax, National Insurance, and any other statutory obligations.
If you have holidays or planned periods of unavailability, please let me know well in advance, as I may need to arrange temporary support during those times. The successful candidate will need to provide an Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one), proof of relevant insurance, and two references before starting.
If interested, please send:
