Wild Water Group is a leading provider of cold storage and distribution across Wales and Southwest England. We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team at our Eastleigh, Southampton site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording, monitoring, and movement of stock while providing excellent service to internal teams, customers, and third parties such as agency staff, contractors etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing incoming and outgoing emails, calls, and general correspondence
- Booking goods inwards and outwards and maintaining the daily bookings diary
- Booking drivers in and out of site
- Accurately recording and “landing” goods on our Delta warehouse management system
- Raising picks and completing stock relocations on the system
- Investigating any stock discrepancies and reporting issues to the Site Manager
- Responding to customer and haulier queries
- Supporting the warehouse team with stock checks
- Ensuring warehouse paperwork is accurate, signed, and correctly filed
- Maintaining a clean and organised office environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a stock control, administration, warehouse, or customer service role
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Previous experience of using Warehouse Management Systems
- Strong mathematical and numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable
- Experience working within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Experience using Delta warehouse management system
