Summary
We are seeking a full time female care assistant to join our team at G & P Healthcare. This role is vital in supporting our wonderful client with Autism to live the best life she can in her own home
HOURS
36 hours per week 3 x 12 hours 8am to 8pm
AREA OF WORK
Clients own home in Bedlington area
Responsibilities
- Assist the client with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Communicate effectively with the client to understand her needs and preferences.
- Work with our care plans and risk assessments to keep the client safe
- Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.
- Provide emotional support with patience and understanding
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Medication admistration and other health tasks that you will be trained to do.
Requirements
- Experience in home care or a similar role is essential.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with the client and her family
- Ability to drive is a must as client has her own car
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
