Job Overview
We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly and reliable helpers to join our Drama & Performing Arts Summer Scheme.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students or anyone interested in teaching, performing arts or childcare to gain valuable experience working with primary-aged children in a fun, creative environment.
You’ll help lead drama games, creative activities and performances, encourage children to take part, and support our team to make the week enjoyable for everyone.
Responsibilities
- Support drama, games and creative activities.
- Encourage children to participate and build confidence.
- Help supervise children throughout the day.
- Assist with setting up and tidying equipment and resources.
- Create a fun, safe and welcoming environment.
- Work alongside the team to ensure the week runs smoothly.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Friendly, enthusiastic and enjoys working with children.
- Confident getting involved in activities and having fun.
- Reliable, organised and a good team player.
- Interested in drama, performing arts, teaching or childcare.
Desirable
- Experience working with children (schools, clubs, nurseries, sports or youth groups).
- Studying or hoping to study Teaching, Performing Arts, Drama, Early Years or a related course.
Availability
Applicants must be available Monday 3rd August to Friday 7th August, 9:00am–3:00pm.
Safeguarding
As this role involves working with children, successful applicants aged 18 or over will be required to complete an Enhanced AccessNI check before employment. Applicants under 18 are welcome to apply and will be supervised in line with safeguarding requirements.
