Administrative & Pet Shop Support Assistant (Part-Time)

We are looking for an organised, reliable and friendly Administrative & Pet Shop Support Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administration and organisation, while also being happy to support customers and assist within a specialist pet retail environment.
Working Hours
- Part-time role
- Up to 4 weekdays per week Monday -Wednesday 9am–3pm ideally
- Saturdays: 9am–1pm (every other Saturday required)
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day administrative tasks including emails, orders, stock records and customer enquiries
- Assisting with retail and trade customer orders, deliveries and general shop organisation
- Creating and scheduling social media content for the shop (Instagram & Facebook)
- Supporting customer communications and general office administration
- Providing friendly customer service and assisting customers in-store when required
- Supporting the team with merchandising and maintaining shop presentation
- Helping maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the shop
- Operating the till and processing transactions accurately when needed
About You
- Organised, dependable and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Confident using social media, particularly Instagram and Facebook
- Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with customers
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- A genuine love of dogs and interest in canine health and nutrition
- Good computer and administrative skills
- Previous administration, retail or customer service experience is beneficial
- Knowledge of raw feeding is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided
