We are seeking a motivated and dependable <PERSON> to join our team as a Delivery Driver. Your expertise in commercial driving and warehouse operations will be essential in maintaining smooth logistics and exceptional service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting and physical stamina, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
- Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation accurately
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any delivery issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management, stock organization, and preparing shipments for delivery
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company on the road
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with warehouse operations and heavy lifting tasks
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy packages repeatedly throughout the day
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance basics
- Prior experience with <PERSON> driver or similar vehicle types is preferred but not mandatory
