We're looking for an experienced and practical Multi-Skilled Property Maintenance Operative to join our friendly maintenance team.This isn't repetitive maintenance work. One day you could be refurbishing a commercial unit, the next repairing traditional stonework, fitting kitchens, carrying out plumbing repairs, or helping deliver exciting redevelopment projects across our estate.If you enjoy variety, solving problems and seeing the results of your work, we'd love to hear from you. What you'll be doing You'll be involved in a wide variety of maintenance and improvement works including:
- General property maintenance
- Carpentry and joinery repairs
- Basic plumbing
- General building repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Brickwork, pointing and masonry repairs
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Reactive maintenance
- Commercial unit refurbishments
- Supporting restoration projects on our Grade II listed buildings
- Working alongside specialist contractors where required
- Helping maintain a safe, tidy and compliant estate
No two days are the same. What we're looking for We're looking for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in what they do.Ideally you'll have experience in property maintenance or one or more trades such as:
- Carpentry
- General building
- Plumbing
- Maintenance
- Decorating
- Roofing
- Groundworks
You don't need to be an expert in every trade. Most importantly we're looking for someone who:
- Has a positive attitude
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Takes pride in producing quality work
- Enjoys solving problems
- Is reliable and motivated
- Wants to continue learning and developing new skills
Experience working on historic or listed buildings would be an advantage, but full support and training will be provided.A full UK driving licence is essential.
