Confident driver with transport essential.
Domestic cleaner and Support assistant wanted to help older people to enjoy the comfort of their own home and activities in their community.
What you'll do
- Travel to customers homes to assist with housekeeping and daily tasks eg cleaning, laundry, shopping and supporting people to get out and about
- Cleaning makes up at least 75% of the job. Involves physical work eg hoovering, mopping etc
- Help customers maintain their dignity, independence and have fun
We do not provide personal care.
We are looking for :
- A practical person who is flexible , enjoys meeting new people and enjoys travelling
- Kind, reliable, patient person
- Excellent communicator with a caring nature
- High cleaning standards with an eye for detail
- A confident driver with reliable transport that is suitable to take people out and about
We offer:
- One to One training, short courses and mentoring
- Paid travel time between jobs and fuel allowance (30p per mile)
- Travel to work time times range between 10 - 30 mins max
- Jobs are 1 hour min to help you build a relationshipAn enhanced DBS is required , we can help with this.
2 references are required- one must be a current or previous employer/customer.
