Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Salary: Minimum starting rate of £13.00 per hour but dependent upon experience. Opportunity for wage progression.

Status: Permanent following 6 months trial period. Normal hours will be 37.5 hours over 5 days per week. 08:00 - 16:00. 20 days per holiday per annum plus statutory bank holidays, contributory pension plan.
Main Responsibilities
Paddock Spares Customer Service Advisor ensures the needs of the customers are being satisfied in a professional manner. They are expected to understand and satisfy their customers’ requirements and exceed their expectations where possible. Although each customer enquiry varies, typical activities are likely to include some or all of the following:
- · Communicating courteously with customers by telephone and email;
- · Investigating and solving customer’s queries:
- · Liaising with our technical team;
- · Keeping accurate records of discussion or correspondence with customers;
- · Ensuring the complaints/feedback procedures for customers are followed;
- · Ordering specialist products and following through customer orders.
- · Improving customer service procedures and standards;
- · Learning about Paddock Spares products or services and keeping up to date with changes;
Skills Required
- · Communication skills that allow you to inform, help and advise customers clearly and to liaise effectively with others;
- · Listening skills, to understand exactly what customers require;
- · Problem solving skills;
- · Confidence, patience, politeness, tact and diplomacy, when dealing with difficult situations;
- · An ability to work well under pressure;
- · Commitment to improve our own customer service skills on an ongoing basis;
- · Computer skills are needed to navigate around a keyboard confidently (training to use Paddock systems competently will be given where necessary).
- · Product knowledge of vehicle parts is not required for this role as this is a general customer service role. Vehicle parts knowledge is only required within our ‘technical teams’.
