Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the nursery. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer service. Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise rooms, bathrooms, and children's areas to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained.
- Change linens, replace towels, and restock supplies as required.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows to maintain a spotless environment.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organising linen supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing children courteously and efficiently.
- Assist with organising supplies and maintaining cleaning equipment in good working order.
Skills
- Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is desirable but not mandatory.
- Basic cooking skills are a plus for roles involving hospitality environments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
