An exciting opportunity exists to employ a Foundational Economy Projects Officer to support our Foundational Economy based businesses. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team and support in delivering Torfaen’s vision for a thriving Foundational Economy.
The role will be responsible for supporting foundational economy businesses and entrepreneurs to access peer networks, mentoring, business support, training and skills to help grow and anchor companies in our town centres and communities. In addition, you will administer a programme of small business grants to eligible businesses, as well as supporting the wider Foundational Economy Team and other SPF projects as needed.
Experience of working with and providing business support, facilitation and mentoring will be essential. In addition experience of working with partners and stakeholders to deliver projects and programmes, ideally within the Foundational Economy will be a further requirement.
