Chef de Partie – Goemon Ramen (Expanding Team)
Overview
Goemon Ramen is a growing Japanese ramen restaurant, and we are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our expanding kitchen team.
This role is suited to a motivated professional with experience working in a professional kitchen. Experience in Japanese cuisine is preferred but not essential.The successful candidate will be responsible for running their section during service and maintaining Goemon Ramen’s standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for a designated kitchen section during service
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes in line with Goemon Ramen’s recipes and quality standards
- Maintain consistency, speed, and presentation during busy service periods
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Support smooth day-to-day kitchen operations and assist the wider team when required
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workstation at all times
- Assist with stock control, preparation planning, and waste management
- Communicate effectively with Sous Chef, Head Chef, and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient service
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a professional kitchen
- Experience in Japanese or Asian cuisine preferred (ramen experience is an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and best kitchen practices
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environment
- High attention to detail and pride in food quality and consistency
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to high standards

Working Pattern
- Full-time position
- Shifts include weekends and evenings
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
