HGV Technician
Location: Bedford
Salary: Up to £51,620 DOE + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday | Rotating Shifts

We're recruiting skilled HGV Technicians to join a growing commercial vehicle workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical skills while working with modern HGV technology and benefiting from a structured career development programme.
What's on Offer:
- Monday to Friday rotating shifts
- Saturday overtime, 7:00am-1:00pm, paid at time and half
- Overtime paid at 1.5x Monday-Saturday
- Double time Sundays & Bank Holidays
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 with service

The Role:
- Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance
- Complete repairs to manufacturer standards
- Accurately complete workshop documentation
- Work as part of a professional and supportive team
What We're Looking For:
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- Previous HGV or commercial vehicle experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, reliable and team-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
- HGV Licence advantageous but not essential
