Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and termination of network cabling including Ethernet, fiber optics, and telecommunication lines following schematics and technical diagrams
- Support the setup and configuration of network equipment such as Switches, Wireless Access Points, and CCTV cameras
- Use hand tools to prepare cables, connectors, and equipment for installation or repair tasks
- Help troubleshoot connectivity issues related to VoIP systems, computer networking, and telecommunication hardware
- Conduct routine inspections of cabling infrastructure to ensure safety standards and proper functioning
- Support senior technicians during site surveys and network testing
Requirements
- Basic electrical experience or understanding of electrical principles is preferred
- Strong interest in computer hardware, networking, and telecommunication systems
- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively for cable preparation and installation
- Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, or wiring layouts is a plus
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework related to networking or electronics is advantageous
