Experienced Barista – Halwa Tearoom & Patisserie
Location: Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Halwa Tearoom & Patisserie is looking for a friendly, reliable and experienced barista to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have previous barista experience and be confident preparing high-quality coffees, providing excellent customer service and working efficiently in a busy café environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparing a full range of hot and cold drinks
- Making espresso-based coffees, including lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites and americanos
- Steaming and texturing milk correctly
- Producing consistent and well-presented drinks
- Taking customer orders and processing payments
- Keeping the coffee station clean, organised and fully stocked
- Cleaning and maintaining the coffee machine and equipment
- Supporting the wider front-of-house team when required
- Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous barista or coffee shop experience is required
- Good knowledge of espresso-based drinks
- Confident using a commercial coffee machine and grinder
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
- Able to remain calm and organised during busy periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends
Latte art experience would be an advantage.
