What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Executive Leadership: Partner closely with the CEO and executive board to define the overarching technology vision, strategy, and product roadmap.
- Team Empowerment: Lead, mentor, and scale our software engineering, IT, and data teams, fostering a culture of innovation, high performance, and continuous learning.
- Architecture & Strategy: Oversee the design and deployment of robust, secure, and scalable cloud-based architecture.
- Delivery & Operations: Champion Agile development methodologies, ensuring reliable, high-quality, and timely delivery of software and technical projects.
- Security & Compliance: Establish and enforce best practices for cybersecurity, data protection (GDPR), and IT governance.
- Budget Management: Oversee the technology budget, optimizing resource allocation, vendor negotiations, and software investments.
What You Bring (Requirements)
- A proven track record in a senior technology leadership role (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of Technology), ideally within a scaling business.
- Deep technical background in software engineering, system architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical deliverables.
- Experience building and scaling diverse technical teams, with a passion for coaching and professional development.
- Excellent communication skills—you can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and inspire an engineering team.
- A forward-thinking mindset with a realistic approach to balancing technical debt, product speed, and system reliability.
