Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised Fundraising & Operations Lead to strengthen our fundraising, support our day-to-day operations and contribute to the future sustainability of our charity.
This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to join a small but ambitious charity that is making a real difference to the lives of young people and their families.
We are looking for someone who can lead our fundraising activity, develop new income opportunities and take ownership of key operational responsibilities, allowing the charity to continue growing and developing its services. This role will complement the Counselling Services Lead and work alongside this position to create overall duel management of the charity. Both roles reporting to the CEO.

Salary: £13,260 - £17,550 per annum (equivalent to £33,150 - £35,100 full time), dependent on agreed hours and experience.
Hours: 15 - 18.75 per week over 2 or 3 days.
Location: Buxton. This is an on-site job only due to the size of the charity and requried office cover.
Overview of Key Duties
- Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to secure diverse revenue streams, including grants, corporate sponsorship and general donations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing donors and cultivate new partnerships through effective communication.
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns, events, and outreach activities.
- Provide effective reporting and evaluation of funding for stakeholders/trustees and funders.
- Manage website and social media to accurately promote the work of the charity and campaigns.
- Represent the charity at networking, third party and promotional events
- Manage the office facilities, repairs and maintenance and utility contracts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in fundraising with a track record of securing grants of over £20K
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written with the ability to prepare and make presentations to funders and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of marketing and social media to promote the work of the charity, campaigns and initiatives.
- Ability to build lasting relationships with donors, partners, and community stakeholders through proactive engagement.
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude and professional manner.
As a key member of our small leadership team, this role offers the opportunity to help shape the future direction and sustainability of the Thomas Theyer Foundation.
The role maybe based on an employed basis or, the charity will consider applications from self-employed individuals where hours can be met and appropriate arrangements can be agreed.
This role is target based with a formal review after six months.
Pay: £17.00-£18.00 per hour
