Position: Part-Time Cook
Location: Raywell Hall Country Lodge Park, HU16 5YL
Are you passionate about home‑cooked food and enjoy working as part of a close‑knit team? We’re looking for a Part-Time Cook to join us at Raywell Hall Tearoom & Bistro, set in the beautiful rural surroundings of Raywell Hall Country Lodge Park.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys evening work, a lively kitchen, and being part of a supportive team during busy services.
What We Offer
- Around 20–30 hours per week with flexibility
- Predominantly evening shifts, ideal if you prefer working later in the day:
- Monday 4–9 pm
- Wednesday 4–9 pm
- Friday 4–9 pm
- Saturday 4–9 pm (seasonal adjustments may apply)
- Occasional weekend and daytime shifts, where needed
- £12.71 per hour plus gratuity (approximately £1 per hour extra)
- Paid trial shift
- Beautiful countryside location
- A supportive, friendly team that works closely together, especially during busy periods
The Role Includes
- Preparing and cooking quality food, primarily from our evening menu
(Menus include breakfasts, sandwiches and jacket potatoes during the day; artisan pizzas and burgers in the evening - see www.raywellhall.co.uk/tearoom for menu's)
- Supporting kitchen service during busy periods
- Working in a fast‑paced kitchen, particularly during peak evening services, with strong teamwork and support from colleagues
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous kitchen or catering experience required
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment
- Enjoys evening work and busy services
- Own transport essential due to rural location
- Reliable, motivated and a strong team player
- Willingness to complete a paid trial shift
