Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely collections of payments. Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve overdue balances efficiently.
- Contact clients via phone and email to follow up on outstanding invoices
- Maintain accurate records of all communications, payments, and adjustments using excel and Xero software.
- Assist with data entry tasks related to new client accounts, credit limits, and customer information updates.
- Arranging Direct Debit set ups, credit accounts and payment plans.
Experience
- Proven experience in credit control or a similar finance role within the financial services industry.
- A good understanding of Excel is required and attention to detail will be paramount.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle client interactions professionally.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential.
