Job Description: – Vehicle Valeter/Driver

We are now looking to add a new team member due to consistent expansion of our operation. Roles within Unit One are not often available - so don't miss out!
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will preferably have previous automotive experience, but not essential, similar transferrable skills would be considered. The successful candidate must take pride in their work and be detailed orientated with excellent written and verbal communication skills ensuring that 100% customer satisfaction is delivered at all times.
You will be anticipated to have an understanding of vehicle preparation processes and have a passion for anything automotive along with a high attention to detail in your work.
Must hold a clean and current UK Driving Licence (with no more than 3 points), and be lawfully able to work in the UK (sorry we cannot offer sponsorship)
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all vehicles in the showroom are displayed to the Unit One Automotive high standard, and are completely prepared and ‘ready to drive away’.
- Valet vehicles inside and out using specialist equipment, chemicals and paint correction techniques
- Conduct yourself in a friendly and professional manner at all times.
- Receive and welcome all customers in an enthusiastic and welcoming manner.
- Attend all Unit One Automotive events as requested to actively promote Unit One cars and services.
- Positive liaison with all members of the Unit One Team.
- Ensure that you comply with the staff planner to meet the needs of the business.
Objectives of Role:
- Provide all customers with exceptional Unit One Automotive customer experience.
- Demonstrate total professionalism, integrity and enthusiasm in all communications with customers and colleagues alike, both verbal, and written.
- Ensure that customer focused processes are adhered to ensure relationships are built on trust and encourage long-term customer retention.
- When driving or road-testing a customer or company-owned car please do so in a safe and professional manner observing the Highway Code, road safety and driving conditions. Remember that you are representing Unit One Automotive.
Hours:
- 40 hours week – Five days a week.
- Monday – Friday working hours are 8am – 5pm
- Saturday work is not required, but available if desired at additional pay.
Package:
- Excellent rates of pay – Depending on Age & Experience
