Kitchen Worktop Fitter
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Kitchen Worktop Fitter to join our team. The role involves delivering and installing stone worktops in residential and commercial properties while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
A full UK driving licence and the ability to drive a company van are essential.
Main Duties
- Deliver and install quartz, granite, marble and porcelain worktops
- Work closely with other fitters as part of a fitting team
- Accurately position, level and securely fit worktops
- Join worktop sections neatly and professionally
- Carry out minor on-site cutting, grinding and polishing when required
- Fit undermount sinks, upstands, splashbacks and other stone components
- Apply silicone and complete all finishing work to a high standard
- Read and follow templates, measurements and technical drawings
- Inspect completed installations and make any necessary adjustments
- Communicate professionally with customers, site managers and other trades
- Handle and lift heavy stone safely with other team members
- Keep the company van, tools and working areas clean and organised
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience fitting kitchen worktops is essential
- Experience working with quartz, granite, marble or porcelain
- Full UK driving licence and confidence driving a company van
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to cooperate effectively with other fitters throughout installations
- Good knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift and handle heavy stone safely
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
- Professional and respectful when working in customers’ homes
- Flexible with working hours and travelling to different installation sites

Pay: £120.00-£150.00 per day
