Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dumper and Roller Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery essential for the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Operate dumpers and rollers safely and efficiently to transport and compact materials across construction sites
- Assist with the operation of excavators and other heavy machinery as needed, ensuring proper handling and maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to identify mechanical issues or safety hazards
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate material delivery, placement, and site preparation activities
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and operational reports
Qualifications
- NPRS with CSCS logo
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid license suitable for operating heavy machinery such as dumpers and rollers
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on construction equipment
- Hands-on experience operating excavators or similar machinery is highly desirable
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
