The Burleigh Arms, Cambridge are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front of House Supervisor to lead our hospitality team with enthusiasm and professionalism.

You will oversee daily operations at the front of house, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and offering a welcoming environment. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver outstanding service, uphold cleanliness and safety protocols, and create memorable moments for every guest. Duties
- Supervise front of house staff including servers, bartenders, and hosts to ensure smooth service flow and high-quality guest interactions
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists to optimize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and food production procedures across all front of house activities
- Oversee cleanliness and organization of dining areas, bar stations, and service stations to maintain a welcoming environment
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Train new team members on service protocols, food safety practices, and company policies to foster a cohesive team culture
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within restaurant or hospitality environments with strong team management skills
- Extensive restaurant experience including bartending, serving, and hospitality operations
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff, baristas (if applicable), and management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure

Pay: £13.50-£14.25 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
