WHO YOU ARE
You are an organised, hands-on and knowledgeable Warehouse Manager with a strong background in event production and audio-visual equipment. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in high standards and understand that well-prepped kit is essential to delivering flawless live events.
You are confident leading a small team, improving processes and taking ownership of the warehouse operation. Calm under pressure, solutions-focused and detail-driven, you enjoy being part of a collaborative, close-knit business where your contribution genuinely matters.
THE ROLE
As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of Banana Split’s event production warehouse. You will oversee the preparation, maintenance, movement and storage of a wide range of AVand event production equipment, ensuring every job is delivered to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on role, combining leadership, technical knowledge and operational oversight. You will work closely with our production and planning teams to support events across the UK and internationally, particularly during busy delivery periods.
The warehouse is the backbone of our production operation — and this role plays a vital part in the success of every event we deliver.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring it operates efficiently, safely and to a consistently high standard
- Lead daily and weekly warehouse planning, reviewing upcoming jobs and priorities
- Manage the preparation, testing and quality control of all equipment prior to dispatch
- Oversee equipment returns, including checks, testing and repairs where required
- Maintain accurate stock control using the inventory management system, including barcoding and regular stock checks
- Preparation of carnet / import / export documentation
- Manage and develop a small team of warehouse technicians, freelancers and support staff
- Support training, onboarding and Health & Safety compliance for warehouse personnel
- Improve warehouse processes, layout and workflows to maximise efficiency and safety
- Carry out risk assessments, fire safety checks and accident reporting
- Liaise closely with production managers to support successful event delivery
- Take ownership of kit maintenance, repairs and replacement planning
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working in an event production warehouse
- Strong technical knowledge of audio, visual and related event production equipment
- Experience managing or supervising a warehouse team
- Confident using inventory management and stock control systems
- Highly organised, process-driven and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working at pace during peak event periods
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence

HOURS OF WORK
Full time (40 hours per week) – Office based +weekends & travel for events. Office is based in Colindale, NW London.
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
