Your primary goal is to provide a stable, nurturing environment that promotes the safety, wellbeing, and personal development of every individual.Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Direct Care: Guide young people through daily routines and engage them in age-appropriate activities.</li><li>Educational Support: Provide assistance for young people within a classroom setting.</li><li>Positive Relationship Management: Actively intervene in crisis or potentially dangerous situations to maintain a safe environment.</li><li>Development: Contribute to and implement individual care plans and maintain accurate administrative records.</li><li>Community Engagement: Escort and transport young people to appointments, meetings, and planned outings.</li></ul>Person SpecificationWe are looking for mature, trustworthy, and reliable individuals who can work under pressure and adapt to changing needs.Professional &amp; Personal Competencies:<ul><li>A genuine interest in the rights and welfare of young people.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbally and written).</li><li>Ability to reflect on and modify your own practice through reflective practice</li><li>Excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to deal with aggression calmly.</li><li>Sound knowledge of basic residential childcare routines and behaviour management.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience <ul><li>Desired: HNC Social Care / SVQ3 (or currently working towards this) and a minimum of 1 year in residential childcare</li><li>Registration: Successful candidates must register with the SSSC within the first six months.</li><li>Driving: A current UK Driving License is highly desirable.</li></ul>Pay: &pound;14.85 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Casual dress</li><li>Discounted or free food</li><li>Free parking</li><li>Health &amp; wellbeing programme</li></ul>Work Location: In person
