The Role:
As a Senior Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Operations Manager and Project Leads to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of operational programmes across multiple regions. Acting as a key link between field and office-based teams, you will coordinate resources, support project mobilisation, lead audits, and drive operational improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced operational professional looking to step up from a supervisory position and take on greater responsibility, leadership, and influence within a dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Operations Manager and Project Leads with the delivery of operational programmes across multiple regions and workstreams.

Coordinate day-to-day operational activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery.

Assist with the mobilisation of new projects, contracts, and client requirements.

Lead and support business improvement initiatives, special projects, and operational recovery plans.

Plan, conduct, and manage operational, quality, safety, and compliance audits.

Identify non-compliance issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented and completed.

Support resource planning, scheduling, and deployment of personnel, equipment, and subcontractors.

Monitor operational performance, analyse data, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Work closely with Project Leads and Team Leaders to resolve operational challenges and resource pressures.

Act as a key liaison between office-based teams, field operations, clients, and stakeholders.

Prepare operational reports, audit findings, performance updates, and action plans.

Provide coaching, guidance, and support to operational teams while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

Act as a trusted deputy to the Operations Manager, providing operational support during periods of increased demand or escalation.
What You'll Need:

Experience within an operational, utilities, engineering, infrastructure or field services environment.

Previous experience in a supervisory, site management or operations coordination role.

Strong understanding of operational planning, resource allocation and programme delivery.

Experience conducting audits, inspections or compliance reviews.

Ability to analyse performance data and implement improvement initiatives.

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities across different projects and geographical locations.

Competent user of Microsoft Office and operational management systems.
