Our team handles some of the country's most challenging and high-profile criminal cases, from serious crime and fraud to complex police station matters. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional standard of client care and legal representation.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Criminal Paralegal with a passion for criminal law and a desire to work on serious and complex cases. You will support solicitors and fee earners across a variety of matters and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
This role is particularly well-suited to graduates who are seeking career progression—whether toward becoming a qualified solicitor or an accredited police station representative.
Key Responsibilities
As a Criminal Paralegal, your duties will include:
- Reviewing and analysing case evidence
- Preparing and filing legal documents and court bundles
- Drafting witness statements and legal correspondence
- Conducting witness interviews
- Attending and assisting with hearings at the Magistrates' and Crown Court
- Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, and third parties
- Preparing case reports and assisting in trial preparation
- Attending police stations (with or without accreditation)
- Providing general administrative support to the legal team
About You
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Passionate about criminal law and committed to a long-term legal career
- Confident, personable, and able to build rapport with clients
- Reliable, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Ideally, experienced in supporting solicitors in criminal cases (though this is not essential)
