We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Bricklayer to work within our WHQS function.
The overall purpose of the Multi Skilled Bricklayer (WHQS) role is to be responsible for Working independently and as a team member within the Repairs Service, you will be responsible for maintenance repairs within and around the domestic properties.
We are looking for someone who has City & guilds or NVQ level 3 in Bricklaying. This role will involve undertaking general maintenance bricklaying works, including face brickwork and block-work, and to undertake assessment of work once allocated and ensure correct materials are ordered.
This is a multi skill role so you will need to have multi skill abilities, ideally an ability to carry out a range of external groundwork and maintenance works, including the installation and repair of ACO drainage systems, concrete and masonry steps, pathways and hard landscaping.
As part of the role you will use a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) mobile working system, ensure compliance with current professional and statutory regulations and all relevant Health & Safety compliance as well as our policies, procedures and standards and be responsible for the safe use and safekeeping of all supplied tools and plant.
