Role: Leisure Officer (NPLQ)
Location: Leyland Leisure Centre
Contract: Part Time (12 hours per week) / Permanent
Salary: £26,527- £26,949 (pro rata) / £13.75 - £13.96 per hour

We are looking to recruit two Leisure Officers to join our friendly and committed team at Leyland Leisure Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of high‑quality community leisure services and to play a vital role in ensuring our customers enjoy a safe, welcoming and positive experience every time they visit.
What you'll be getting up to
- Providing a friendly, efficient and professional service to all customers
- Supervising the pool and leisure facilities to ensure customer safety at all times
- Monitoring customer behaviour, enforcing pool regulations and water safety policies
- Responding to emergencies in line with the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and Pool Safety Operating Procedures (PSOP), including administering first aid and rescue when required
- Supporting Duty Managers with health and safety monitoring and operational checks
We are looking for confident, positive and self‑motivated individuals who:
- Are comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Take a proactive approach to health and safety
- Are calm and professional when responding to customer enquiries or issues
- Enjoy working with members of the public in a busy leisure environment
- Hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

- This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, facilitated by South Ribble Council
