Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Bar and Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our vibrant pub. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for food, beverages, and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will assist in managing staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and delivering an outstanding experience for our guests. Previous experience in a pub or restaurant environment, along with strong leadership skills, are essential to thrive in this position.
Duties
- Assist in supervising daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and motivate staff to maintain high levels of performance.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Assist in training new team members in all aspects of the pub front of house procedures.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and beverages; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, bar area, and dining spaces.
- Support promotional activities and special events to boost business engagement.
- Ensure the cellar management is completed to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
- Experience in team management with excellent leadership qualities.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including serving, bar management, and cellar management.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour.

Pay: £26,420.00-£29,028.72 per year
