Job Summary
I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated FEMALE PCA (Personal Care Assistant) to provide essential support to me at my home. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for me , who you assist by delivering personalized care tailored to my unique needs. I am a disabled lady with a cat. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference through active engagement, reliable support, and respectful companionship. You will work closely with me, to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Assist me with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Support me in adhering to my personalized care plan, ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed
- Maintain clear and open communication with me to address needs and update on care progress
- Use IT tools and electronic records to document care activities accurately and efficiently
- Monitor my health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals
- Foster a respectful, positive environment that encourages my dignity and emotional well-being
- A driving licence is preferred but not required
- Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with me
- Basic IT literacy is necessary for maintaining accurate documentation and following digital care plans
- Valid driving license and reliable vehicle are desirable
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow prescribed routines accurately is important for delivering consistent support
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
