JOB SUMMARY
The Internal Sales Manager is responsible for assisting in leading the internal sales function to drive growth across the assigned region through proactive engagement with contractors, merchants and key stakeholders. Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager, this role is accountable for managing the quotation process, developing sales opportunities, maintaining a healthy project pipeline and ensuring exceptional customer service.
The role combines leadership of the internal sales operation with direct commercial responsibility, ensuring projects are quoted accurately, opportunities are followed through to conversion and strong relationships are developed with contractors, merchants and internal stakeholders. Success will be measured through quotation conversion, pipeline management, regional sales growth and customer satisfaction.
DETAILED ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via phone and email.
· Prepare and send accurate and competitive quotes for contractor projects.
· Collaborate with internal teams including technical support, customer service and production & supply chain to ensure proposals are feasible and delivered on time.
· Support general enquiries from the merchant network.
· Track and follow up on all quotations to maximise conversion rates and close opportunities.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with regional contractors and sub-contractors to drive quoting activity and convert to active orders.
· Strengthen partnerships with Naylors merchant network to promote Naylor products and support joint marketing or sales initiatives.
· Support Regional Sales Managers with administrative tasks and coordination.
· Identify and explore new opportunities for growth.
· Any other duties, as demanded by the job role and as requested by your line manager as and when required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Strong relationship management and communication skills.
· Commercially minded with the ability to identify and act on sales opportunities.
· Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven, with a proven record of achieving targets.
· Capable of working independently while contributing effectively to team goals.
· Willingness to continuously learn about product ranges and internal processes to enhance sales support.
· Experience working on a CRM system (Customer relationship management system)
Pay: £29,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
