Pay Rate: Up to £13 per hour (DOE)
Shift Pattern : Maple leaf House 7:30 a.m - 6 p.m.
Contracted Hours: Bank
About the Role
We are currently looking for a Chef to join our team on a permanent basis. We require staff that are compassionate and empathetic to the needs of our services. As a Chef, you'll play a key role in preparing, plating, and serving meals, ensuring high standards of nutrition, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals, including special diets (e.g., purees, diabetic-friendly).
- Plate and serve food attractively and hygienically.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.
- Monitor food storage, temperature logs, and deliveries.
- Assist with snacks and catering for events and themed nights.

Requirements
- Experience in catering or kitchen work
- Basic food hygiene knowledge
- Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented
- Willing to complete training (Food Hygiene, Health & Safety)
Desirable:
- Food Hygiene Level 2/3
- Experience in healthcare or care home kitchens
