The Role
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. You will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development while ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Plan and provide engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Promote a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment.
- Support children's emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist with daily nursery routines, including meal and sleep times where required.
Requirements
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare (or equivalent).
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, caring, and professional attitude.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential.
